EPIC News: Sustainable Office Campus Near Bristol to Bring 2,150 Jobs and £140M Annual Boost

US software company, Epic, has been granted planning permission by North Somerset Council for the construction of an office campus outside Bristol which, on completion, will have the capacity to accommodate up to 2,150 employees and is estimated to contribute £140m in gross value add to the economy per year.

CSquared has advised Epic on all aspects of its real estate since its arrival in the UK in 2017, including the acquisition of 80,000 sqft of offices in Bristol city centre. It also advised Epic in the assembly of a multi-disciplinary project team culminating in the site acquisition and subsequent planning consent for the campus – a project 5 years in the making.

The campus will be a highly sustainable development, using renewable energy sources, preserving most of the land as open space, and improving the ecology of the area through re-naturalisation of Ashton Brook and increased biodiversity.

Congratulations to our colleague, Richard Ford, for all your hard work on this deal.
